We are a non-profit organization, national and international in scope, non-partisan, plural in its social thinking and in its composition for community, comprehensive and sustainable development that works in favor of the human rights of children, adolescents and young people vulnerable to poverty.

The Dominican Inclusive Lesbian Community (COLESDOM) was founded on March 29, 2017 by a multidisciplinary youth team. We focus our efforts from an intersectional and feminist approach to work on children, adolescents who transgress traditional gender roles and young people of diverse sexual orientations, gender identity, sexual characteristics of LBTIQ people assigned female at birth.

Contribute to the Dominican State defining and applying  public policies that contribute to improving the quality of life of the LGBTIQ community in the Republic.

Promote a culture of respect for the Human Rights of vulnerable groups, respect for human dignity, prevention of social discrimination, prevention of the culture of hatred of bisexual, intersex and queer lesbians.

Contribuir a que el Estado Dominicano defina y aplique políticas públicas que contribuyan a mejorar la calidad de vida de la comunidad (LBTIQ) en la República Dominicana.

Promover los esfuerzos nacionales e internacionales enfocados a reducir la violencia de género, la violencia en contra de las lesbianas, bisexuales, trans masculinas, intersexuales y Queer (LBTIQ); a través de un enfoque biopsicosocial.

Realizar investigaciones que permitan obtener informaciones necesarias para definir acciones de buena calidad en favor de la población de lésbianas, bisexuales, trans masculino, intersexual,  queer (LBTIQ) en la República Dominicana.

Develop an educational space or center to promote community leadership and empowerment of the LBTIQ lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer population, from which they have opportunities for comprehensive development, acquiring an economic and social structure that allows them to live with dignity.

Fomentar una cultura de respeto a los derechos humanos de personas en situación de vulnerabilidad, de respecto a la dignidad humana, de prevención de la discriminación social, de tolerancia a las personas lesbianas, bisexuales, trans masculinas, intersexuales y queer en la República Dominicana.

Impulsar estrategias y acciones para contribuir a garantizar el respeto de las niñas, adolescentes y jóvenes que transgreden los roles tradicionales de género.

Apoyar en toda su diversidad a jóvenes de la comunidad (LBTIQ) dotándolos de herramientas para la educación, empoderamiento y reivindicación de su orientación sexual, identidad de género y características sexuales diversas.
